Yummy!
For my first visit to the Distillery District it was a pretty good one. I went for lunch the other day with my family, we sat on the patio under the sun and had a great time. The food & wine where delicious. Our server was great too. You could tell he was busy but he was very attentive to all his tables - something I greatly appreciated.
I will definitely be going back to the Distillery District! Where should I try next?

Although a proclaimed destination for oysters, fish and creatures of the sea, Chef Rosso's menu is well balanced from the hoof to the wing. THe menu offers expected classics as grilled beef tenderloin in an allspices jus, pan seared duck breast with a honey sake glaze and innovative pasta interspersed with contemporary unexpected starters such as a rare tuna spring roll. The restaurant embraces diners with provate cozy booths and engages oyster lovers with shuck side seats at the bar.
Busy place, the food is great. We focused on ordering appertizers, Oysters, Mussels in a Thai style broth, crab cake, Tuna tartare. We walked in without reservations, but were seated at the bar. Recommended to reserve a table online, the host and hostess were not friendly, and they did not even bother to acknowledge our existence when we arrive, not even a hello. Wine by the glass is pricey, 13 dollars for a 5 oz. pour. I wish they will have Czech beers or Samuel Adams. Dinner service was courteous.
